The City of Providence is now accepting applications for Program Year 2019 (7/1/2019-6/30/2020) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds. Approximately $3.7 million in CDBG funds is estimated to be available for this round, pending receipt of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding agreement for 2019. An estimated $900,000 in HOME and HOPWA funds for affordable housing development and housing support programs is also anticipated.
All applications for CDBG Housing, Public Facilities, Economic Development, Public Service grants, HOME Housing, and HOPWA must be received by the City of Providence through its online grants management system (http://grants.providenceri.com) by 4:00 PM on Monday, February 11, 2019.
