Daniel Starr-Tambor joined the City Solicitor’s Office in September 2024. His areas of interest include contracts, legislative drafting, housing, employment, and civil litigation. Prior to joining the team, Daniel worked as a general contractor, founded an art gallery, co-founded a children’s pony camp, developed and launched a food product, composed music for film, and created sound/sculpture installations that have been exhibited in New York.
Daniel earned a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, and a Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Roger Williams University School of Law. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar and the US District Court for the District of Rhode Island, and lives in Providence with his wife, son, and two cats – who are lovingly named Fig and Gutoff.
