Jeff has been City Solicitor for the City of Providence, RI since March 2015. Prior to serving as the Solicitor he was in private practice with a focus on consumer rights litigation and consumer bankruptcy. He previously served as the Career Law Clerk to the Hon. Arthur N. Votolato, Jr. of the US Bankruptcy Court in Rhode Island, as an attorney with Rhode Island Legal Services, and with a firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been actively engaged with numerous community organizations; having served as a board member for organizations such as the Childhood Lead Action Project, Community Action Partnership of Providence, Olneyville Housing Corporation, and the George Wiley Center. He currently serves as a board member of Crossroads Rhode Island and as a member of the International Municipal Lawyer Association’s Board of Directors. He received a BA from Tulane University and a JD from Tulane University School of Law.
