Mario Martone joined the Solicitor’s Office as an Assistant City Solicitor in the Spring of 2014. He serves in the Solicitor’s Prosecution Unit and pursues the City’s interests in Housing Court and serves on the Nuisance Task Force. He also devotes a portion of his time to municipal contracts and serves as legal counsel to the Providence School Department representing the Department on labor, employment and education related issues.
Prior to joining the Solicitor’s Office, Mario was in private practice and served as Associate Legal Counsel to the Narragansett Bay Commission. Attorney Martone graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2006 with a BA in Political Science and a BS in Biology and graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2009.
