Rosa E. Arias-Perry joined the City Solicitor’s office in February 2018. In July 2019, she was appointed by Mayor Elorza to serve as the City’s Municipal Integrity Officer (MIO). As the city’s MIO, her primary focus is to encourage officials and employees of the city to act in an ethical manner. Before her tenure with the City, Rosa honed her legal expertise in the field of immigration law while practicing in the private sector. Her focus primarily encompassed removal defense and family-based immigration cases, providing her with a wealth of experience in these domains. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. Rosa graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelors in Psychology. She earned her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. During her law school career, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson at the Rhode Island Superior Court. Beyond her professional pursuits, Rosa finds solace and joy in spending quality time with her two children, often venturing into nature’s embrace.
