Suzannah Skolnik joined the City Solicitor’s office in 2020. Her practice focuses primarily on defense of the City in personal injury and employment cases. Suzannah also negotiates contracts on behalf of the Parks Department and the Department of Public Property. Before joining the Solicitor’s Office, Suzannah was a legal fellow at Rhode Island Legal Services, where she focused on eviction defense on behalf of military veterans.
Suzannah holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Cardozo Law School. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and for the Immigrant Protection Unit at the New York Legal Assistance Group. Suzannah serves as co-chair of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Government Lawyers Committee.
