When is the planetarium open?
Located in the Museum of Natural History, the Planetarium is a dome theater, which is only open during showtimes. Planetarium shows are temporarily paused due to museum closure. There are other offerings during certain holidays, special events and school vacation weeks. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the show start time to check-in for the Planetarium show. FOR SAFETY REASONS, TICKETHOLDERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER THE PLANETARIUM ONCE THE SHOW HAS BEGUN. Children must be age 4 and older to be permitted in the planetarium. Planetarium show tickets must be purchased ONLINE.
What are the fees?
Museum admission (does not include the planetarium) is $2, free for children under age 4
Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5, Children must be age 4 and older to be permitted in the planetarium. Each person attending the planetarium show needs a ticket.
