How can I determine if the park I want to rent or host an event at is available on my preferred dates?
Please visit the Parks Department’s event page hub to check for availability on your preferred dates. If they’re unavailable, you can browse for other parks that might fit your needs.
Which activities require event permits?
Any person, business, organization, or other entity holding an event, program or activity in any city park or any portion thereof, with attendance in excess of twenty-five (25) persons, must obtain a Park Permit for the entirety of the event.
Do I need a permit to take photos in a city park?
Yes- if you are doing any commercial photography (this includes professional photos for things like weddings, engagement sessions and Sweet 15/16 photos), a permit is required.

I would like to get married in a city park- how can I do this?
