Throughout the month of July, members of the Providence Police Department’s Narcotics Bureau has executed search warrants at 52 Greely Street, 160 Benedict Street, 485 Admiral Street and 35 Grape Street.
160 Benedict Street, Apt 204- Narcotics Detectives Jonathan Desmarais, Eric Cuellar and Josh Greeno seized 250 grams of cocaine, approximately $2,200 in U. S. Currency, and a .380 Caliber hand gun. The target of the investigation, Danielle Reyero, age 36 of Providence, was charged with possession with intent to deliver one ounce to one kilogram of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence and possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence.
485 Admiral and 35 Grape Street, 2nd floor – Narcotics Detectives, assisted by members of the Intelligence Unit, led by Detectives Eric Cuellar, Lou Castro, and Doug Steele, seized 500 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 230 grams of marijuana and 50 grams of crack cocaine, as well as a .38 Caliber revolver. $4, 215.00 in U.S. Currency was also seized from 485 Admiral Street. The targets of this investigation were Joselito Torres, age 40 of 485 Admiral Street, Providence, and Chico Torres, age 39 of 35 Grape Street 2nd floor, Providence. Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, heroin and amphetamines and conspiracy charges. Chico Torres was also charged with committing a crime of violence while possessing (with intent to deliver) narcotics while carrying a firearm and possession of a firearm after previously being convicted of a crime of violence. Both subjects were recently arrest after Joselito fired a firearm at Chico.
52 Greely Street, 2nd and 3rd floors- Narcotics Detectives Ludwig Castro, Doug Steele, and Eric Cuellar conducted a six-month investigation into a subject identified as Andrew Savinon, age 27. Detectives seized 68.7 grams of cocaine, 1,302.3 grams of fentanyl, 40 grams of amphetamines, 1,113 Oxycodone pills, and $13,065 in U.S. Currency. Savinon has a warrant for his arrest for possession with intent to deliver amphetamines, cocaine, Oxycodone, fentanyl, possession of 1 ounce- 1 kilogram of cocaine and four counts of conspiracy. Also arrested in connection with this investigation was Domitilo Reyes, age 40, of Providence and Manuel Gonzalez-Toribio, age 27 of Providence. Domitilo and Toribio were charged with the same infractions as Savinon.
