Trash Pickup Trash pickup in Providence takes place on Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays that fall on a week day. Click here to find your trash pick-up day. If a holiday falls on your trash pickup day, your trash will be picked up on the very next day. All pickups for the rest of the week will also be operating on a one-day delay. (Friday’s pickup will take place on Saturday). CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP Christmas tree pickup will start Monday, January 6th, and continue through the week of January 13th, then end on the week of Monday, January 20th. FREE Bulk Trash Pickup Waste Management provides a bulk item trash pickup service to Providence residents and is limited to 3 items per week. This is a scheduled service; please call Waste Management at 800-972-4545 or use the online portal to schedule.
Yard Debris Pickup NO PLASTIC BAGS! Please place yard debris in brown paper debris bags or in your own container marked as yard debris. Get your FREE yard debris sticker at DPW headquarters during normal business hours.
